Allison Moore

Through an interdisciplinary approach, Allison Moore blends film, animation and the performing arts. Her work explores the historical context of immersive media to understand how technological developments have transformed the way we create and consume narratives. Using metaphorical landscapes inspired by personal memories, dreams and places visited, her works propose an allegorical vision of the world in which people interact in synergy with their environment.

Originally from Victoria, British Columbia, Allison Moore lives and works in Montreal. Her career is punctuated by numerous exhibitions and events in Quebec, Canada, Brazil, France, Ireland and Japan. Winner of several scholarships and residencies, she holds a Master's degree in Film Production from Concordia University.
